This is my grandson Harry every year he comes to my house to make some Easter buns for the rest of his cousins. To-day was so cold & windy in Ireland that we decided to-day was the day!!!! Afterwards I was able to do some sewing ~ it feels so good to have the pressure of the wedding over ~ even though it was a very low key affair I didn't realise until this week just how stressed out I have been. Having said all that it was a truly wonderful occassion & so lovely to share in my daughter's special day.
I want to thank Heidi from http://needlenecessities.blogspot.com/ for the lovely Christmas primitive ornaments patterns which she shared over the past few months I have one completed & one almost finished & one still to start. I have enjoyed the time spent sewing these simple but beautiful ornaments as they have helped me relax a bit while sewing them. When looking for some backing fabric I came across a few UFO'S & have also been working hard at these I will post pics as soon as I have them totally finished.
A friend sent me a beautiful e mail today a lovely song by Carroll Roberson called One Pair of Hands. I had the privlege of meeting Carroll some years ago when he came to my local church I would love to share it with you I found it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bm7b_i_pYg&feature=related on you tube so I hope the link works if not leave me a comment with your e mail address & I'll forward it to you

You are most welcome and I love your Believe ornament. I enjoy sharing them with everyone.
Harry looks like a sweet boy and is enjoying his Easter baking. Are they like the Hot Cross buns I am used to seeing in Yorkshire for Easter?
Hugs ~
Heidi
It is so good to see you posting! The wedding pictures are beautiful and I love the church! Is that one that you and your family normally attend? What a beautiful place of worship.
Harry does look so sweet - what a cutie pie! Like Heidi, I was wondering what you were making. Here the traditional Easter meal (for the Southern part of the US) is Ham with regional sides - this depends on which part of the south you live in and family traditions.
Have a wonderful Easter with your family!

Mrs J D the church is an old Quaker church in our town (very old & very beautiful) it is not used to worship in just for non denominational weddings & christenings/dedications. My daughter & her husband are not believers (yet!) so they didn't want to use my church to be married in. Harry loves helping me he is a very good child & the little cakes are so easy just rice krispies ( rice cereal) & melted chocolate with little mini easter eggs for decoration. Traditional Easter lunch in Ireland is leg of lamb which we will be having on Sunday. Happy Easter to you Marie x
